Fale (house)

Samoan culture pre-metal, still in use, located in the central South PaSamoan Culture, pre-metal, from ancient times, still in use; located in the central South Pacific, part of Polynesia, region of Oceania.

Materials: wood main support and roof structure, connected by braided coconut sennit lashings 'Afa, sugarcane thatch roofing, no metal fasteners, no walls.
