Galindo

Moche Culture, from c. 600 C.E. to 800 C.E.; consisting or large raised mud platform/temples, reminiscent of the Moche huacas, and cercaduras or walled compounds, with adjacent residential areas. Located on a large aluvial fan on the northeastern side of the Moche River, roughly 15 kilometers northeast of Trulillo and Huaca de Moche, in northern Peru . The largest Platform, "A", is 8 meters tall and rests in a walled enclosure 250 x 130 meters.

Elevation is c. 183 meters (600 feet) above sea level.

Materials: mud brick and stone walls; thatch roofs.
