Taos Pueblo

Northern Tiwa Culture; one of the longest continuously inhabited villages in the United States, dating from c.900 C.E., located in Northern New Mexico, near the Town of Taos, at the base of Mount Wheeler, the tallest peak in New Mexico.

Elevation is 2176 meters (7142 feet) above sea level.

Materials: adobe walls, wood log roof structure, with mud/clay roof.
