Arkaim Site

Sintashta-Petrovka culture, occupied generally in the 17th century B.C.E., and possibly as early as 20th century B.C.E. with artifacts found dating to 4th Millenium B.C.E.; located in the Southern Urals, Chelyabinsk Oblast, Russia; thought to be the product of the ancient Aryan culture, it is contemporaneous with the Cretan-Mycenaean civilization in the Mediterranean Sea, the Middle Kingdom of Egypt, and the first states of Mesopotamia

Elevation is c. 312 meters (1025 feet) above sea level.

Materials: Perimeter protecting wall: earth packed into timber frames, and reinforced with unburned clay brick, with a thickness of 4 to 5 m (13 to 16 ft). and a height of 5.5 m (18.04 ft); houses and roof top lodges were wooden covered with packed stabilized mud.
