Chaco Canyon "Downtown"

Chaco Culture National Park, New Mexico, occupied from 850 C.E. to 1250 C.E., abandoned in c. 1250 C.E. The model is scaled at about six square miles.

Elevation of the canyon floor is c.1883 meters (6180 feet) above sea level.

Materials: mortarless stone walls, wood log roof structure, with mud/clay roof.
