Dovecote

Mediterranean cultures, the dovecote was developed as a source of egg protein, and bird droppings for fertilizer, from the first millenium B.C.E. Located in ancient Egypt, Persia, Rome, and Arabian pennisula.

Materials: mud bridk walls/dome, with mud plaster, wooden bird perches.
