El Tajin

Veracruz Mexico Culture, pyramid with niches, Classic Period, 600 to 1200 C.E, site unknown to Europeans until 1785 C.E., located near the city of Poza Rica northwest of the city of Veracruz; in 1992 it was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Elevation is c.134 meters (438 feet) above sea level.
