Etruscan Temple

Etruscan Culture, (pre-Rome, in present-day Italy), c. 500 B.C.E.; influenced by Greek architecture and later influence Roman architecture, as was described by Vitruvius at the end of 1st Millenium B.C.E.. The temple typically had three cellas for the cheif gods, Tinia, Uni, and Menrva.

Materials: stone plinth (base); mud and wood walls; wood columns, roof beams, and roof purlins, ceramic roof tiles.
