Granary (Hórreo), Iberian

Iberian Culture, granary from ancient times, date unknown; similar to other indignous granaries worldwide. This building type in use since Roman times, when Iberia was a bread basket of Rome.

Materials: Stone columns, column bases, and column caps (saddle stones); wood beams, floor, walls, roof beams and purlins; thatch roof.
