Kurgan

Indo-European Sythian Culture, the kurgan is a burial mound covering a burial chamber or chambers and are often made of wood logs in horizontal tongue and groove patterns; originating in the Eurasian Steppes dating from c. 9th century B.C.E., the kurgan spread throughout Europe and Asia c. 4th century B.C.E.

Elevation is c. 838 meters (2751 feet) above sea level.

Materials: burial chambers walls and roofs are cribs of logs with sod/earth covering
