Pre-contact Olmec Civilization, occupied 900 B.C.E. to 400 B.C.E.; located in La Venta, Mexican state of Tobasco, near the Gulf of Mexico.

Elevation is c. 15 meters (50 feet) above sea level.

Materials: earth mounds from local sands and clays.
