Panlong Cheng Palace
Chinese Longshan culture: Palace with double eaves constructed in the middle of the Shang dynasty period, c. 1600 B.C.E.–1046 B.C.E.; located in Hubei Province on the Yangtse River. Elevation is c. 24 meters (80 feet) above sea level. Materials of Construction: Rammed earth platform and Inner chamber walls, with outer structural elements of wood, and thatch roof. Outer shade structure preserved comfort of inner high thermal mass rooms in all seasons. Data for CG model: |
