Point Pueblo Ruin Point Pueblo, a Chacoan Outlier, located within the City of Farmington, NM. The ruin is one of around a dozen large Ancestral Puebloan Pueblo II/Pueblo III habitations dating to between 900 CE and 1300 CE in the Middle San Juan River bottomland. The ruin site contains a great house and great kiva built in both local vernacular and stylized Chacoan Type II architecture. The presence of found Red Mesa Black-on-white pottery indicated the pueblo had southern influence from 850 CE to 1050 CE. The excavation has revealed continuous ritual placement of artifacts following remodeling of the great kiva floor and roof support piers, completed in the late 1100s CE. After the remodeling, use of the great kiva continued through the 1200s CE. Elevation is 1624 meters (5330 feet) above sea level.
