Santa Rosa Xtampak

Maya Civilization, city originated in 400 B.C.E., abandoned in 1000 C.E., Located in the Chenes region of Campeche state, Mexico. Designed in the combined styles of Late Classic era Chenes and Puuc; the city, the Ceremonial Center, with its white Palace, shown here, had 10,000 people and covers 9 square kilometers.

Elevation is c. 119 meters (391 feet) above sea level.
