Toh La Kai

Chaco Culture, Chaco Culture Influenced, New Mexico, Constructed 1060 C.E. - 1220 C.E.; located about 77 kilometers (48 miles) southwest of Chaco "downtown". The exceptional feature of this Great House is its orientation to the northeast instead of the usual southeast orientation of ancestral Puebloan pueblos.

Elevation is c.1965 meters (6450 feet) above sea level.

Materials: mortarless stone walls, wood log roof structure, with mud/clay roof.
